But it can be done for half the price and still be just as light. I don't think that comes up close enough to the clutch for my liking anyway but it's hard to tell from the pictures.

Similar in design (like that one) to the OE MTechnik but fabricated from aluminium and flair punched for the "grip" surface.

Yes I think that's a go... I want them my self anyway so I'll suss it out soon.

Smoke some for me... And drink a good dark beer while you're at it...

I'm all for it as long as I'm not the one into the dope (doesn't agree with me :) )

I don't smoke either. I'm a marathoner runner. I get high on raising my VO2max. The thread was getting wet. Time for some humor.

                    Now he's purely hated.
Welcome to the fickle world of r3v. This forum has a propensity to put someone on a pedestal and then tear them down. From hero to hated in 60 seconds. There seems to be a lemming mentality of piling on someone.

I'm certainly a healthy skeptic and DC has made quite a few unsubstantiated claims. But I also like to keep an open mind and he seems to have made contributions to the e30 community. driving him off the forum would not be in our best interests. not to mention, isn't he a paying sponsor?

Why not just go home? You probably ignored all the "fun" people.

Truly... I suppose I am clueless. I am indeed puzzled at why I would be banned.

I can only think of one serous failure on my part with a product that came about from a manufacturing failure (seal material) and I doubt anyone is more pissed than I am over that. Being hosed by a material supplier is just one of those things that can wreck your and everyone else's day.

I have not to explained a few things in as much detail as some would seem to think I'm obligated to... Others have convinced me I am obligated not to give out some details because the information is "Proprietary".

So some think I'm full of shit... Whatever.

I was thinking of buying the bars some time back but now a little skept.

Plus another thing, after tonight, it says your deals on your frames disappear,

will they still be offered at your site?
Yes this stuff isn't going to disappear it will be available here: http://bmwzenperformance.com/e30-products.html

I Just can not afford to sell them at the prices they were listed here at.

Just finished talking to John about it...

We are moving ahead on an Aluminium (or Aloo-my-numb) Dead Pedal and an Aluminium Oil Pan Skid Guard (that isn't like an M1 Abrams tank part) for the e30...

Both with a target price of less than $150...

Hey pal, great way to place the blame. When you are the retailer, you are to blame, not the supplier/manufacture. It is your name on the product.

Besides, reselling weatherstripping from JC Whitney to kids who don't know better is also your fault.

I get your point on the who's responsibility for quality thing is...

However... "reselling weatherstripping from JC Whitney" ... No that is an incorrect assumption on your part.
