To paint the kidneys, or not?

I normally know exactly what I want to do to my cars, but this has me stumped. Right now my eta has all the chrome trim intact. I kinda want to black out the kidneys, but I am worried, since I have metallic paint, lots of chrome and light colored wheels, its going to look off. I am curious what you all have to say. (If there is one thing the internet is not going to run out of, is opinions.)

Yep, gives an appearance of sportiness, no matter the car

paint em, also the window trims. IMHO the chromed window trims ONLY looks good if you have polished lip.

I think i am gonna go blacked out, slowly but surely. I just realized I also have plans to paint the roof black temporarily (do to badly pealing paint).

The rear is, but the front wouldn't go in.

Yep, tons of pressure released, no oil. I was using a dead blow hammer to push it in. It acted like a see-saw more than anything.

You may need to use a Safeway/Von's/PigglyWiggly to get them more tucked.

It wouldn't go in? Do you have that problem a lot? It's usually harder to get it to go in the back than the front from my experience.

                          What did you try?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

If just air came out you need to pick a new spot to drill and keep digging till you hit oil. Then drive it into a tree.

And paint the entire front end black well just the kidneys and grilles. But I keep a chrome kidney and a black and change em out depending on my mood.
