I like + want to own a e46 in the future. Preferably a white 330CI (ZHP...but im not sure if they have ZHPs in white)

Also, there are plenty of new bmws that are worthy, but I am still partial to old school e30/e28/shark/etc...

Bro has an 03 540i/6 m-sport and it's nice, but expensive to maintain out of warranty.

I don't like any of the new bmws after e46s, well maybe the z4m coupe is an exception.

        I've owned
        E36 325i
        E46 323Ci
        '74 2002
and two E46 M3's all since sold, traded in or totaled.

I just got my first E30 a few months ago.

The E36 and E46 are nothing like the E30. Feel much more solid and heavy. E36 was pretty crappy, things fall apart easily and felt more heavy than solid. E46 feel big, solid, and heavy.. and the M3 is quite fast of course.

My E30 feels light, nimble, and decently solid but not like an E36 or E46. E30 is actually is so light and quick it is pretty scary to drive compared to an E46.

The 2002 was a lot like my E30, except even lighter and quicker - and scarier.

i feel the exact opposite... i feel less safe at speed in my 135i than i do in my e30. The 135 feels heavy and solid and like there is a lot a smooth power available everywhere. The e30 feels much more nimble and light and raw. I feel more connected in the e30 like im driving the car instead of it driving me.

And thats why I just got another e30. Not a great one, not even that much potential cause it has a little rust, in the usual places. But not too bad.

I want to do what Ive seen some of you guys do. M54 swap on a NICE already e30. Ive owned 3 in the past 87 326 eta, 90iS and a 88 is. None were modded a lot, except for BBS's on all of them.

Thats what Im here for, Ill post pics of the bottlecapped, resprayed 90 325i I just bought, cheap. Real cheap in fact for how it runs. But ... Im looking for that one to buy that is cherry red, ( or silver), ready for a swap.

Hope this forum proves to be as helpful as e46fanatics.

                    I have a e34 525 touring, e39 528 saloon (ex press car) e36 328 cab shinitzerd up and e46 330 sport.

None of them come close to my e30's drive or look's wise tbh.

I have (for another couple of days anyway) a '95 540i 6-speed. It's a great, smooth highway cruiser with endless power compared to my 318 but after driving it for a few months I realized it just wasn't a "me" car.

I will miss my heated sport seats though. haha

The 02 M Roadster is my wifes summer ride. She loves it. I dont drive it much as it messes me up. So much power driving anything afterwards is like going from a car to a bicycle.

The 01 540 Touring is my summer car/garage queen. I absolutely love it. Will come out of storage in a couple of weeks. I love the smell, feel and power of it.

e46 m3 is the last of the new bmws I would like to get, after that I think they lost the feel.

I own an e92 and I love it. I didn't want to rack up too many miles so I had an old accord as a dd. That got rear ended and I wanted something else, so i picked up an e30. Didn't plan on modding it since it's my commuter car, but I caught the bug and now I want to turn it reliable enough to push it hard a tthe track... esp since my e92 is steptronic
