Any interest on an ITB group buy?

    Extrudabody Items:
6 cylinder Triple Linkage Kit. throttle Control Section $125.00$125.00
Remove 16-ITB-KIT-40/45mm or Triple DCOE/IDF Web Bolt Patterns
(45/50mm Taper Bore) Weber Replacements section $1,249.00$1,249.00
Remove 1M0-44M-044 BMW M20 Triple DCOE Manifold Manifold only Section $365.00$365.00
Remove 1FR-Custom-Drilling-4&6 Fuel Delivery section $35.00$35.00

After atomic posted these guys website up in the intake manifold discussion, I've chatted with Kevin there through email.

As you can see, normally the M20 setup comes in at a tick under $1800. Still working out the details but it appears that with 6 sales he would take 20% off, so around $1420. Obviously you still need EMS and a plenum (they do have a template for the ITB's to build your own).

Consider the Dbilas setup (with the current exchange rate) is checking in at just under $3k. Although I'm not sure what all the Dbilas comes with so I won't make any comments there.

No hurry on this, just thought I'd send out a feeler.

What about running it without a plenum?

They do have a 24v kit. He said for the purposes of the GB they all needed to be the same. But I'll double check and see if its a possibility.

You could, the TB's have a nipple next to the fuel injector opening so you can connect all 6 TB's to a vacuum log and take a MAP reading from that. But I thought I remembered Ely (rs4pro3) having problems with that on his homemade setup. If you wanted to run an Alpha-N setup you could probably get away with it.

The 24v setup is pretty nice as well. I know a guy who has them for his turbo M52 he is building in his e30.

I don't have any personal experience with them either, so I can't comment on that.

However, if you don't have evidence to back up your claims, don't start talking shit about a vendor based on hear say.

So does the price go down if more people get invloved?
Even if it is 24V and M20??
