If I had that on my car I think I would blow a load everytime I walk by.

I've seen some videos on youtube where they've got their engine's running without a plenum or anything, just the itb's straight up?
what kind of problems can that cause, because it sounds freakin' awesome!

          ITB's straight up:

Much narrower and higher torque band. Will be breathing lean hot air, whch is not good for power. Engine will heatsoak quicker.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

^Yup. And if you read through rs4pro3's thread, you may or may not have a problem tuning using a MAP sensor. I believe he is going to use a hybrid MAP/Alpha-N setup to tune his.

I have a feeling using a MAF with a plenum will be the easiest way to get a good tune on the car.

Looks like the GB will only be for the M20 guys at present. Kevin is ironing out the final details of the kit and the Group Buy at the moment.

Tentatively the Group Buy offer will end the last day of Febrary once it starts, so I may not even be able to get in on it myself! But at least everyone else will have a shot at it.

                More details are forthcoming.

                  Fucking sick deal nonetheless.

Seriously considering going through them instead of trying to make what I have work.

I will talk to him about a 24v next week, or if he might be willing to mix it up like 10 total mixed or something, but I don't know if that will happen. I have a huge chain of emails I just sent to my home account to sift through so I can post up a bunch of the stuff he and I have discussed this week.

Don't know if I mentioned it or not yet, but he said they are also working on their own Standalone EMS that will be comparable to MegaSquirt in price, but with more features, usability, etc.

Might be interested. Depending on how soon this happens. Otherwise I'm going to use a dbilas manifold, and Jenvey ITB's with a diy lost foam plenum but that would cost a LOT more over all I think.

Taken from their website in regards to hushing/bearings:

                              Q. Do the ITB’s have Bushings or Bearings?

A: We use Viton sealed stainless steel bearings that are prelubed. Bearings are a standard size and easily replaceable.

Haven't had a chance to post up all the stuff yet, probably will tomorrow.

But he said it will have support MAF, MAP and Alpha N.
