When people put in Gumball Rally and say how cool it is.....I think it's weak. Commericalized.....with fucking stickers declaring you're in the event, and stops every night at 5star hotels. Pussies.
I loved the cannonball runs because they had heart. And had a purpose rather than playboys with nothing better to do than run with their ferraris.
I second that emotion.
a switch on the dash to disable the brakelights
Old school street racing trick. As long as your exhaust is not too loud as to give you away, it just might save you from a ticket - or a chase.

But a good street racer has quiet exhaust anyway.
yeah, but you can visibly see that a car is slowing down without his brake lights on.. so whats the point?
Frankfurt to Bitburg in 1 hr 30 minutes 175 miles of Autobahn speeds.
The movie was reviewed on Siscal and Ebert.
Damn, thats quick.
Jarvis and I made it from Oneonta, NY to F1 in Braintree is about 3 hours flat this spring. That was a lot of fun and my car handled it very well. Averaging 87mph is no joke...even though I brought the car up between 100 and 110 everytime there was space, I think we still averaged a little under 80 for the trip.

At night it is a little harder. And one time in Honda Tuning an ITR had a switch that cut everything but the headlights, which would make the car very hard to catch or see even.
Could just run without lights and use night vision like Jackie Chan!

Yea, not really. Ive used it. It works. Unless your blatant about it and your front end doesnt squat, a cop passing from the other direction wont get a long enough look to be sure. The second look he gets, I'm going the speed limit.
I also hid in an alley with my engine on after a race. Police sped right by the alley and didnt see me there. I didnt have enough time to pull into the alley, stop the car, turn it off, then put it in gear so it wouldnt move. Brake light cut-out switch saved me there too.
