Class was cancelled today and yesterday and it ended up not even touching us, but I still made some new orleans style hurricanes to celebrate for the occasion . :drink:

yeah, classes were cancelled today and tomorrow here at WCU. The National Weather Advisory just issued a warning for our 1/3 of NC and said that this can be some of the worse and most life threatening flooding that we've ever had. We are expecting up to 20 inch of rain last i heard.

so yeah, here at WCU, the "creek" overflowed into a HUGE river that ended up flooding the golf course. The course is below the normal river level so me and 4 friends went out in the flood and SWAM accros the golf course. It ended up being a bout 10 ft. deep in alot of places. Then we walked to the river which rose about 3 inch in around the 5 minutes we stood there.
