I had one in the E30 never used it. how much did it cost you ?....

I love mine and paid too much to get it. I don't Fuh Raze my car, so it helps in shifting in that I have a place to rest my arm and flip the shifter.
But the cup holder is lame and I don't really use it (don't drink in the car anyway).
