    need help from mazda guys

    i am trying to find the specs on the S/C used on the mazda millenia S.

    VE, volume, how many bar/lbs of boost, ETC

    any suggestions or direction to go?

      Do you want to use it on something, or is a friend getting noise in the housing of that horror of design (Miller Cycle) and now he/she does not want to pay the 3,000+ dealer list for a replacement?

      I'm betting the second.

          not a lot, as they are a "blow-thru" design, they are at the 7-8 PSI range IIRC.

            i was thinking of using it on my 2.7 stroker.
            i need to investigate a little farther first.
            i can and probably will pick it up, because i can get it CHEAP!

            i think it is similar to an M-62.

              my big convern is that it is on a 2.3lt so it might choke the engine off a little. if i can get 10-12lbs out of it, that would be great on my SETA stroker!

              a Lysholm compressor might be kind of fun too

                she is a funky looking one too


                i can unbolt the end cap and throttle body and fab from there w/o any big issues. i just wan to make sure it is worth it.

                      find a better SC, unless you have know somewhere that has one

                      and new, they cost around 1.5k, used at a yard, probably 50

                          is the problem that they are a Lysholm compressor, that the miller cycle motor is funky, or that the charger itself is poorly made?

                          for the cost, i might either keep it to put on a 318, or just resell it. i'll check the condition once i pull it though.

                          do the Lysholm's do the same as a G-ladder and slowly destroy themselves?
