The roads that are the most fun just aren't going to have too many cops on them. They are out in areas that don't see lots of traffic anyway. I mention Hwy 49 and I like it because it's right here in my back yard, but it not just 49 but some of the little county roads that connect to it.

Another really good one is Hwy 128 and it's probably my favorite, but it's not as close to me. On a road like 128 your GPS is your best friend....

The best day of all to own a BMW? Super Bowl Sunday of course. Most people will be glued to a TV somewhere watching what is just another stupid boring football game. If you have seen one, you have seen them all... right?

The highways will be pretty much deserted this coming Sunday afternoon. All the road hog SUVs will be parked at a sports bar or in someone's driveway (mine included) and the highways will look abandoned. Even the local law enforcement folks will be parked for the most part during the "big game"..... Hello, calling all drivers.

My friends this is our day! I am so lucky to live in Northern California as we have the most interesting mix of roads in the country for "spirited driving". Trust me, I have been everywhere and Northern Cali has it all. Maybe that's why I have chosen to live here? This day only comes once a year, don't miss out.

I am going to see if some friends will do a pursuit video. Have a route mapped out for camera points and all. I know of a few people to pull it off, maybe.
