    Manufacturer's suggested retail prices (US$)

    325iX 2dr
    1988: $32,800
    1989/90: $29,950
    1991: $31,100

    325iX 4dr
    1989/90: $30,750
    1991: $31,900

    M3
    1988: $34,000
    1989/90: $34,950
    1991: $35,900

... and those prices don't even include on-road costs or options!

Nope, in fact the 325ix actually costed more than the 325ic. The M3 was by far the most expensive.

        I've got both ends covered:
        1988 M3 = $34K
        1984 318i = $16.4K

My window sticker says $23,850 for a 1991 318is. Would have been $24,050, had the PO decided to keep central locking.

There's another thing that interests me. I'm flipping through the USA dealer brochure on the 318is, and every car in the brochure, being LHD, looks like this:

          Anyone notice anything different?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

I have no idea how much my car was, though I know he second owner (whom I bought the car from) paid 16,000 in 1992 when the car had a mere 31K miles. I DO know that when I still lived in Columbus and was having my car worked on, there was a mint 1984 Alpina B6 2.8 there getting tuned up after sitting in a garage for 10 years. The papers in the glovebox substantiated my shock; $43,810!! And that was back in 1984!

                            I'm a woman!

Mine had about 166k I think. I had been driving it for a year before I bought it. My boss owned it.

                            :)
