          8)

Drew, as Chris mentioned, they lack some of the luxuries of the standard '95 M3, but do have some performance enhancements and nice tricks for track driving. Off the top of my head....
          -Adjustable front/rear splitter/wing
          -3.23LSD (3.15 for all other '95's)
          -17x8.5 forged 'Motorsport' wheels
-I THINK they have the Euro-S50 oil pan (holds about 8 quarts)
          -updated,offset strut mounts
-stiffer springs, stiffer shock valving, possible thicker sways
          -///M stress bar :nice
-aluminum doors and hood (save about 5 pounds each, whooptie doo)
          -no sunroof

I think LTW's are cool because of the trick goodies they had and the rarity of them, but I can't justify spending an extra 10k+ for one over a standard '95 M. For a few thousand, you can setup a standard M to whip the dogshit out of the LTW on and off the track. :?

They my buddy's is cool because its rare and modded, but yeah no doubt you could strip a stock M3 and put some $ it and have the performance for less.

For that matter, what Rob said is right. Think about if you put all the $ difference into an E30.
            What could a 2300lbs early 318 + OBD-I 3.2L motor + 5 lug + E36 M3 front brakes + Forgeline wheels do? .... stripped ..... CF hood, CF sunroof, CF ....... etc etc
Maybe Trent's Henna or Bryson's Bronzit will show what some $'s in a 80s BMW can do.

And like I mentioned, even the heavily modded LTW was beat by the J-Stock E30 M3. Both drivers good, perhaps E30 better by a bit. But stock, perhaps a good driver in a modded E30 non-M could hang......maybe.

I better get started building lots more experience if I want to get at my friend.

Harker. His father was a eye surgeon from what I recall, and modded that car, and had 5 spoke light wheels I believe (memory hazing on that) but they were grey/silver. And a momo steering wheel. Maybe he was there.

I don't think he was there, but cannot be for sure. There was a friend of my uncle's who showed up to my graduation open house with a white m3 and M3 flags.....don't know if it was a real LTW or not. But I know my uncle's friend was more likely to be at the corral.

OT: Do you have that picture of my car on the cruise? Or was that someone else who was there?
