This came up in another discussion elsewhere, and I'm curious about them. Do a lot of people have OEM mudflaps on their E30? Did you have them and remove them? Do you lack them and want some? Are they even rare?

What say you?

I had them on my car when I was rocking Bilstein HD's, but once I went to Bilstein Sports/H&R Sports they dragged on occasion so I sold them. From what I gather, they are pretty rare. Does anyone have the hookup on mudflap hardware or is Home Dpoet the next best candidate.

I ask because I have a pair for the rear sitting in my garage, and have no intention of using them... don't know what they'd be worth, but I heard from someone that they're pretty rare. I've almost never seen them on a car myself.

I havent seen any other E30 but mine with mudflaps.

I had a set of original OEM ones from 1987 in my trunk when I got the car :). They would have dragged constantly with the GCs, so I sold them.

I've got all four and I think they're awesome. They are really big, kind of like the ones you see on rally cars.

I had them on my first e30 when I was 16. They were gone about 20 minutes after I paid for the car.

i have a full set sitting in a box in my room. i got the fronts brand new from bavauto. the rears i had to hunt for. finally got them on ebay. i paid too much, and they're used. but i had to have them. they wont go on until im dumped on GC's and some 16x9's. and yes, i hope they drag on the ground. lol.

I got some from Bav Auto, they scrapped horribly with my Tokickos.

i had flaps on my old e30, i thought they looked ok.... on a hard turn on billy sports and H&R sports they would hit the ground once in a while.

I would like a set for my IX for the winter but I doubt im going to find any.

I had a set come on my 318is and I sold there here for something like $60 shipped IIRC.
