I have a cannon miniDV w/ fish eye and a mount from filmtools.com One can do some pretty cool stuff with the combo. My buddy has a HDminiDV cam, super expensive, but the quality is amazing. He might be shooting some on the June 20th drive.

I love vw's i had a 81 rabbit then an 87 jetta but i have to agree mk1\mk2 guys are cooler than anybody else!!!! but for the most part everybody in the pnw dub scene is chill as hell and we dont think we are cooler than anybody else and we respect well built cars even if it is a well built honda(personally cant stand them but whatevers) havent really got to gether with an e30 group so idk bout that!

So you pretty much hate e30 owners then as well.... Where is the difference? How many bmw meets have you been to where it was young dudes with no clue?
How many dub meets have you been to with the same turn out? It's the same thing, a couple of older dudes, and tons of younger dudes trying to be different but fit the norm. I know plenty of MK4 guys who are as cool or cooler than most everyone I have ever met in the e30 scene. It is part of car culture... nerds are everywhere you look, if you don't see it in the e30 scene, then you are one of the nerds.
Get over yourself and enjoy the cars.

I will say one thing. Down here, the "dirtydubs" guys and girls are rad. They welcome the e30 crowd whenever we show up to their get togethers. I constantly get emails and updates from their main people asking if we would like to join them on track days, bbqs and meets. Maybe it's different up there, but I have yet to meet a vw guy or girl I didn't get along with.

It is, in everything though. I have met alot of douchebags while skateboarding. But I wouldn't say the majority of skateboarders are douchebags. Although some may tend to feel differently.
I really have yet to find an organized group of people that aren't plagued by a few bad apples... from darts to skateboarding, to e30s, to soccer fans, to football fans, each group is comprised of people who are fanatics about what they do... it can be somewhat overwhelming until you realize that everyone is a bit lame in their own respect.
