It's begining to look a lot like Christmas...

...OR at least it felt like it yesterday! I got back from a two week long vacation yesterday, two packages waiting for me (or for my car) Check out the pics if you want to know what they contained. :)

I installed everything on 1.45 hours of sleep. lol (i was rushed out of Florida due to the hurricane)

Yes, yes, I know the front signal looks gay. I am taking off the tint film and using model tint spray later this week. I wanted to see what the signal looked like smoked first.

It was a very happy day and I am THRILLED.

Thank you Santa. (you know who you are)

    New Grills
(anyone want to buy an old US pair?)

    New Glove Box Latch YAY!

And last but certianly not least, SHINY NEW ROUNDELS! (wheels too)

I would think the laminate would hold up better than tint spray (which was never meant to be in the elements). you just need to cut it to fit correctly.

I cut it just fine. BUT I think I used the wrong kind of tint. NOW don't laugh, but it was the static sticky kind. I didn't relize it until I got home and got it out of the packaging. SO I used a little adheasive spray just to get an idea of what it looks like. The screws pull at the film and make it buckle. I suppose I could xacto knife the film out of where the screw sits. The sidemarkers are perfectly fine

What product should I be using? Anyone else have an opinion on model tint spray vs laminate?

            THANKS!

Probably because it's meant for model cars that sit inside, not real cars that are subjected to the elements.

I am glad I found the forum before I had put eyebrows on! It has given me a fighting chance at not having a ghetto mobile.
