Kyle Busch had a good run this weekend, winning the Truck Series, Nationwide, and came in 3rd in the Sprint.

Glad Junior blew his motor, but not happy with Dave Blaney. Not sure why he was in the pits all race, probably some type of catastrophic failure.

I hate that California is such a boring track.. and that they make it into such a "hollywood" event when Fontana is about as close to hollywood as it is to north county san diego. All the new theatrics thats going on with nascar now that its vastly more popular really annoys the shit out of me, but regardless this is the first season i've watched and actually felt excited to watch the rest of since I was 13 maybe. id like to see speed and allemdinger do well just because they're from karting. Cant wait for the road courses. anyway fuck a nascar im going to the f1 thread.

oh also im excited for the new le mans series with joey hand in the m3, I used to watch him kill it around adams kart track in riverside back in the before time. id really like to see him do something.

not paying attention this year. I hope Smoke does well, but just like him, I am sick of all the commercialism. The pre-race is way too long and most races run into a Sunday night. Fans and familys who have traveled or have work the next day can hardly stay for the finish.... Plus tickets are out of control expensive. NASCAR is starting to fuck it's fans for MORE money.
+1 on Bristol though. I have been to 3 night races and love it. I got to see Smoke win there which was awesome. I have never seen anyone happier.

you think that nascar racing is a bunch of rednecks that get in and drive? yeah, your wrong. is F1 racing more complex, um yeah, but any kind of racing wether it be F1, Indy, Nascar to go kart involve complex engineering and some stupid ass redneck could never do. Alot of the drivers in NASCAR know their shit. Take Ryan Newman, he got his engineering degree.

Now could Kyle Busch or any nascar driver make it in F1, i think its a 50 50 chance. depens how much money the team has and how good the driver is. Yeah a nascar driver only goes left for most races, but its not as easy as it seems. i bet a good F1 driver couldnt even make the Daytona 500. its a completly different kind of racing.

My mistake sir, i didnt know NASTYCAR drivers had to have GED's to compete in the sport. I assumed that the majority of them were found in the ponds and streams they spawned from, then were shoved into the drivers seat of their grandpappys pickup truck where they learned to make left turns, and nothing but left turns. 'Keep yer foot in it' he would always yell. just keep your foot down and make them turns as fast ya can! on those were the days.
