ive had the urge, recently, to pick up an E28, just for the sake of practicality, but thats really the only thing that attracts me to them... they look like a giant E21 with 4 doors.
i have two kids, so it seems logical that i should own one... but, unless you're a parent, or a big fat dude, i really see no point in owning one, when there's lighter, faster and arguably cooler looking options for the same money.1995 Porsche 993 6 speed

I looked at e28s when in the process of buying my e30, they are cheap and readily available around here but for me they're too big and squishy. note: I did not drive any 'is' or 'm' models.
i agree.. the e28 M5 (especially the euro version) is one of the coolest cars ever made.
a long time ago, when i was having an E30 serviced at a dealership, they loaned me an E28 for a couple of days. i really really liked it, but i couldnt wait to get my car back!Originally posted by HollandThere should be a restraining order to keep kids 100 feet from that car at all times. Plus execution on the sight to anyone who places a shopping cart within 200 feet of the thing.
