If it is a diamond or a band, yes, I would say she is either taken or wants to look like she is taken. But a ring of any other type on that left ring finger does not mean she is taken.

I often wear a 3 ct wt Sapphire surrounded by over 50 pave diamonds on my left ring finger. I am not engaged or married. I am right handed and it gets in the way on my right hand, so I wear it on the left.

SO, engagement looking or wedding band looking rings on the left ring finger. PROB LY taken. Anything else? Just ask. It's that easy.

This is correct too, or so I have heard, I thought about mentioning it, but I held back. lol

    :)

    Good luck!

this is correct... but its the other way around.... if the bottom of the heart is pointing towards the hand..... dating..... if away from the hand single... crown is on the top of the heart

Yes, yes, you are right. I read that wrong. If the point of the heart is facing the wearer, she is taken, if it is facing away she is looking.

women are so inconsistant with the rings these days best thing either way is to ask. some just wear a band to signify they are taken others diamonds, and sometimes other stones. One of my good freinds has a saphire wedding ring just because she likes the stone better then diamonds
