Wow..really? That's like an hour job, tops. You probably paid 4 hours labor and dealer price on a radiator.

    Ouch.

As for the STEP-children driving e30s, most of the shop guys I know up here drive the Employee-lease special Z4s, 169/month baby.

Roundel just did an order and the only E30 besides the M3 that might have a chance at being a collectible was the 325is.

Nah. My dealership (Erhard BMW Bloomfield Hills, MI) has a service tech who knows the cars and respects the costs. I think they try to do right by E30 owners because many of us continue to buy other BMW cars and/or own them already. I was charged 2hrs labor, and I'll take that on a 10 degree day without a heated garage! Winter is a real bitch in Michigan. Plus, these guys really know their stuff - I'd save $10 or $15 an hour to go to some no-name shop, and risk them screwing up my car or taking it joyriding. This is no 318i with a stock M42 ;)

        E30 24V 6MT SOLD :( - look for it in sunny Miami :)

Erhard does not overcharge for the older vehicles. We love the classics!!! I remember seeing your car there m3-eater, everyone loved it!!! We work with the people with older cars, cause we appreciate them here!

I know for a fact there are 2002 parts that are not available from dealership, and a lot of mobile tradition parts have to be "massaged" to fit.

Time to buy out all $250 local parts cars.
