    Harbor Freight SALE!

    found this cupoon today:

    20% off any one item,

they have the nice floor standing blasting cabinet on sale this week for 219, i called and you can apply this cupon and get it for around 175 plus tax!

ive already got one of these units, they are great and cost effective with a few mods

cant beat the price and perfect for rebuilding/refinishing

im getting a second so i dont have to switch from oxide to bead all the time,

with some heavy modding and welding work, you can fit some good size rims in these units

That's great incentive if you have your eye on some pricy item (like a good floor jack or eleventy-billion piece socket/wrench set).

Is this coupon code universal for us all because I noticed it said "preferred customers."

Yes, my computer was made overseas, but I am sure that it was made with proper patents and most of the dies used to make the parts were made here in the states or another country that recognizes patent rights. Most of the technologies and processes to manufacture it were developed here in the states as well. Harbor Freight is filled with cheap patent rip off products. They only sell it because there is demand for it by ignorant consumers. It is simple supply and demand. If more people would stand up and stop buying it, they would not import them as much. I'm tired of China having absolutely no respect towards international patents, industrial standards, engineering standards, etc. Become a more responsible consumer.

So you are okay with all the cheap labor to produce all these goods, so that in raises our standard of living, but you condemn them for not respect the patent law because? Have you been outside of the country? to third world places? Live there? understand why? If you have, you might think twice about being so critical. Its always the uneducated that makes these unbelievablly biased and ignorant statements. These statement is also used by politicians as patriotism propaganda.

chinese stuff is usually cheap crap but folks here want cheap crap. guess why nothing is made in the usa anymore. cos the cheap US consumers don't want to pay for it. you can't have it both ways.

I use Harbor Freight to buy some things. It's hard to justify too much money for a craftsman floorjack when it's a Chinese POS that stops working after a year. I can get the the exact same quality for far less at HF. When I see a quality difference within my budget, I go for it. Otherwise, Sears is going to get the shaft on that one.

When I am older and can afford truly well-made tools I am definitely going to make myself a nice garage. Until then, the money I occasionally save buying HF crap goes directly into the e30 community, which is more important to me than huge tool manufacturers.

I like HF for some stuff...basic stuff, like pick sets, screwdrivers, bits, etc...and things I lose a lot at work, like 7mm, 8mm, 10mm sockets. Or things I don't use too often, like air tools...The big things I go high quality on...Makita Drill, Fluke, etc. Just my .02.
