my cs clan has a pub now, sonik.rh.rit.edu:27015...its hosted at one of the members school, RIT...So theres some lag every now and then but its pretty gnar.

agreed. However i just play cs just cuz i have no other games on my computer at the moment since my asheron's call 2 subscription ran out (too cheap to pay monthly anymore)

sure its fun for 2 days, but after that its such a waste of time.

Exactly, but you were like blown away for the first few hours at bullet time. I know I was. It does get boring. CS is kinda classic in that way I suppose, it can't get old, unless you play with n00bs or something.

I was heavily into CS until a few months ago, where i started playing DoD for some reason.

Perhaps cause it's a better game with less lamers to deal with ;)

If you want a good DoD server to play on visit http://www.kustomkettle.com .....it's the original custom map server for DoD and I played there since beta 2.0......great bunch of guys with good rules to prevent the lamers. I admin'd there up until my wife told me to stop playing. I do manage to get on once a month when she is out of the house and play under the name: Colonel.
