Bad MAF?

Car starts then shuts off, will not idle. Will stay running if im on the gas. It has been idling kinda rough lately kinda like I have a cam. I unplugged the MAF and it will idle. Plug it back in and then it dies.

Sound like a bad MAF?

Thank you. Took it off, cleaned it out, reset the ecu. Wam Bam zoom zoom good to go.

you may want to check your coolant temp sensor as well. A bad one will show the same symptoms then work. Just a suggestion if it comes back to haunt you.

it's not a MAF.. it's an AFM. and no, it's not the same thing. :p

Mass Air Flow Sensor vs. Air Flow Meter.....Same difference then. haha

no, one measures air mass, the other measures volume. completely different. :)
