I came. 3.0 CSL Batmobile content

Went with a couple of friends to German Master Tech today, a local Euro shop, and they had this in their service bay.

100% authentic. Almost all original. Raced in historics and at autocross. I jizzed in my pants. Enjoy.

I didn't believe it either until I touched it. I didn't dare ask, but I wanted to sit in it SO BAD.

Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and ask. I have to get a pic of myself in it.

Someone needs to walk into the board room at BMW in Munich with these pics in hand, and scream at the top of their lungs...

THIS IS WHAT YOU USED TO BUILD.

Man, that is stunning. Reminds me of the 3.0CSL I saw at 12H Sebring last year, talk about a car that makes you stop in your tracks.

Thanks for the 70's IMSA porn, Josh.

Niiice... Have you opened the hood and checked what the engine was? Real CSLs also have mono lugs... That's about the only way to verify if a car is indeed what it is supposed to be. If you want, you can buy a tub, and graft all the CSL stuff on it for relatively cheap. That's a project I should do myself.

Look here for the CSL candy store

Agreed its a nice car, but doesn't look very original to me. Not much factory parts on that car at all. Looks like a car that was built out of leftover parts or something.
