        BMW went to shit the day they started offering automatic gearboxes in M cars. If I was one of the people that hand built the M cars, I would fucking quit. No soccer mom is going to drive a car I spent 2 weeks hand building.

                        Those cars you listed aren't M cars. Of course they would be excluded.

                        The E34 M5 went out of production in 1995, so yes they WERE hand assembled until then. Get your facts straight before you start spewing misinformation.

                            Josh, E36 330iS = 1995 M3 with the 3.0 S50. 332i/iS = 96+ M3 with the 3.2 S50.

                              e46 m3....new m5....

                              argue all you want, but unless you car rev the motor to 5k and drop the clutch, you aren't driving a real manual.
