I use the UUC lines, they look great. I can't comment on any performance gains, the main thing was I just don't want to deal with replacing them again. I think the biggest improvement is simply replacing the old worn out rubber lines, so if you're on a budget simply replace them with new rubber you'd be fine.
I don't think SS line from UUC are too expensive though so I just went with that since they look cool and you'll probably never have to replace them again. It's a good idea to hold off on replacing the 2 lines near the differential until you get in there to do all the bushings so you can just do it at the same time and save yourself some stress, because it's nearly impossible to replace those 2 lines without getting shit out of the way. Some people say they are able to squeeze in there, but I've tried and tired, I think they're stretch armstrong or something lol.

Yup, all brake lines have the inner lining. Rubber on its own would never hold up to that type of pressure. The teflon is a coating between the nylon inner lining and rubber. Its not structural. SS brake lines are great if you're doing the baha 1000 or you need to impress your ricer friends.
That should be a clue about the quality of what you're buying.Leave a comment:
