don't worry though, there's a local guy here that sold e30 m5 5-lug swap for $2600. Some moron paid that much before wheels.

No offense that moron, if you're a r3ver.

I started adding it all up and then gave up since more e30 wheels came out in 4x100 :)

What new rims came out for 4x100 lugs? Im looking for CSL replicas, but I cant find many under 17".
Whats the largest rim that anyone would run on an e30?

You can get 18's under the fender but they dont really look right.

I think I have about 700 bucks into mine, using all E30M3 parts. I found a set of strut tubes at my old work, had to buy one lower knuckle, four bearings, had to buy rear hubs, and I had my old suspension from my previous E30 already.

Well, I haven't got them dialed in. To be honest it's has caster adjustment but not nearly enough. The offset m3 cab and '97 m3 ca's are not enough so now I have to get a custom cab set up made to get the caster perfect. I'm really disapionted for this one reason alone.

                        CSL's do

Although I have the Korman e30 m3 fiberglass fenders going on there now. I wasn't going to go that route but somehow I ended up w/ em ;)

'96 on have the same part #. Why would only the '97 work?

Thats just what I was told, I noticed the part # was the same as well. and heres what I scored last night for $700 bucks from a buddy of mine. E36 Front Struts / Bilstein Shocks, Bav Auto Sport Springs, Calipers Rotors, etc (those control arms are junk) 318ti Rear Trailing arms with Axles and Calipers E30 Hats, and M3 Bushings I don't think I made out too badly, hopefully when im done cleaning this stuff, it will all bolt right up. Now I need to get my hands on the control arms. When the tax return is done rims will be shopped as well. Thanks for all the help so far, any comments are appreciated.

Nice score. The only issue I have is that even with the correct new '96 ca's my caster is still off. I'm not sure why that is?

Keep me posted on that issue. I still have to get finished cleaning these parts, paint the calipers silver all around and get the correct control arms. I just noticed the brake pads are new all around BIG PLUS! Hopefully by the time I am ready to install, someone will have a answer for us.
