    I'm looking at an e30...

The car I'm looking at is an 88iS.

The price is right and it's even the color that I want (delphin) but there is one problem... the car has rust around the left rear wheel well. Now, I personally have never seen an e30 with rust on this part of the car since e30’s don’t tend to rust around here. Is this a common place for rust? If not I’m thinking this area has been repaired.

    I really can’t decide…

Anyone selling a delphin late model iS???

Don't buy an E30 with rust, you'll be sorry later.

Probably at least $100, maybe more.

Judging by the different tone of the front fender in that picture in the ad, it seems a good chance it was painted or partially repainted. Doesn't seem like many mods either.... how much is that in USD?

Works out to about $3100 USD. You can't compare price though. I sold my eta for ~$5600 USD. You would never see that kind of money for an eta in the states. Region matters in car price.
EDIT how can you tell it's two tone from that crappy pic.

Alberta e30's don't rust; we don't salt our roads like down east. Even though our winters are worse you guys have much more rusty cars.

And I envy your un-salted roads. Stupid Toronto.

                    hey spencer
how low will the guy go in price? my friend had an older 320 with rust in the left wheel well and in a matter of months it was gone. did you see the car for yourself? did you email that guy with the black 325IS? the car in calgary also has a left suspension "issue", so you better inquire. overall, its at a tempting price.
and you are right about toronto. they salt alot more than we do.
