Saw the new 6er up close and personal..

I've spied a sliver new 6er running around town here, but never met up with the guy. I had the pleasure of riding behind and next to him on the way home today, and i think my poor cabrio pissed its self

The guy was real cool, when we were side by side at a stoplight, he even complimented me on the Cabrio. I returned the favor and then he asked me to race.... Quite obviously i forfeited because

    A) street racing is gay
    B) I didnt want my M20 to blow up
    C) It would be like a VW Bug racing a Gallrado.

Talk about your average BMW owner douche bag.

"Nice cabrio, *noticing its old and possibly slow* ... wanna race? *remembering that he has a brand new BMW and needs a quick ego boost.*

The 6er's are nice. I have driven several of them at work and they are quite amazing on the road once you get past some of the controversial looks (which I happen to like 90% of on that car).

I love the look of it and would kill to get to drive one

The thing the rednecks around here say is the difference between a porcupine and a BMW is that the pricks are on the outside.

I owuld have raced him

I saw one parked downtown the other day, pretty striking car in person. It's funny how you don't really know how something looks until you see it in person. It was pretty sweet.

learned that the hard way with my first mail-order bride. good thing I found a nice place to hide her body..... .....

People keep hating on Bangle or comfy new Bimmers, but BMW NA doesn't care if they sell. And what do opinions of people with 14yo Bimmers + matter in new cars? And I did the look myself (except for 7er's rear end)

Besides, some people think the new 5 is stupid looking, but drive a 545. It's awesome.

He was probably a douche and need the ego boost. One customer at the dealership thinks he is hot shit for being 50 and have a new M3. Tools. Makes the BMW name bad.

You could have raced for shits and giggles.

I like seeing older guys in M3's when they think they are hot stuff... I just look back at them and laugh. I am 21 years old and my M3 will always be a classic, and will probably surpass their M3 in value in 10-15 years time.
The guys who really know whats up on the older cars... E30 M3's E24 M6's E28 M5's even E34 M5's, all badass cars that are true drivers car, but cost much less than newer bimmers that can't even compare.

on a more srious note, I have more respect for an old classic M than a new one. Anyone can rock a new one, but to have a clean E30 M3 or E34 M5 like Abrahams.....that is more pimp.

i was driving over by my dads house and i spotted an e28 m5 with cobwebs around the wheels going to the ground it looked like they just forgot about it, but appeared to be in good condition. it must be nice to have a car like that and be able to park it and forget about it.
I retired my E30 for now...

don't feel bad, I think the new E60 5 series is one of the best designs to come out of BMW since the E39. too bad the interiors are so un-bmw (I want my F15 style cockpit damnit!)

Just got my roundel and the main story was the New m5. I read it twice and was awe struck the entire time!

the oil pressure is 1200 psi for the bi-VANOS; I am completely in love with the 545, 645 and the m5.
