Phone goes in the slot next to the handbrake, sunnies go under the radio.

I find that my phone goes rocketing out of the center slot under firm braking. The little ramp at the front ensures a trajectory ending somewhere between the head unit and the HVAC controller. Usually the radio. Which is not good.

Why would I need my phone while I drive? I put my sunglasses in a bag in console under the radio. Phone sits in the open ashtray if I happen to need it. Otherwise phone stays in pocket.

I just wedge them in the sun visor (unfolded) and the spring tension holds them in place. I never knew that it was such a problem.

i havent quite "placed" them. everything keeps on moving to new locations....

the comment about the ash tray makes me interested in obtaining a redesigned tray. something that is less suited for ash than it would be for easy retrevial of change and also less likely to scratch a cell phone. what do you guys think?

As long as you pull the metal things out, the ash tray works fine as a storage bin.

I use one of those 2 dollar black sticky pads. Put sunglasses and phone on the dash above the vents. Don't let it get to dusty though, my treo hit me in the face when i went around a faster corner... It hurt.

Mine are always in the little compartment next to the e-brake when I'm not wearing them.

would you rather it be in your pocket and you have to dig for it while driving?

i take mine out and clip it to my sunvisor.

i don't own sunglasses, so i don't need to worry about losing/scratching them.

My phone stays in my pocket so that the EMF it generates makes me sterile.

Sunglasses go in the glove box inside the hard case.
