and i can relate, i went and drove a mini cooper s, sure that thing was hell on wheels, but i couldnt make myself let go of the e30, it just feels better than anything else i've driven.

i would take an m coupe over a vert anyday, but im workin on a tight budget here, and its the only z3 for sale in my city. idk well see... i just hate having to spend a bunch of money every month on shit that broke, and not be able to drive for a day or two

If you're going to get something with shitty subframe design that will tear out causing thousands in repairs and heartbreak, you might as well get a M Coupe or stick with the e30.

However I am, in general, a fan of balls out "chick cars."

I've always wanted to build a Mk3 Cabby with a 3.0L high comp VR swap and ITBs.

That, and to boost the balls off a first gen miata.

:stupid:. buy another e30 as back up for when your car breaks. unless the z3 is brand spanking new, trust me something will come up. and its not going to be in the same cheap price range to fix as the e30.
