        The condition is frightening. If you could get it very cheap you could rebuild it but lord knows what it needs. I sure didnt come out of a car that was loved.

        I think someone here is already looking at it, I remember a thread about putting the B7 into an E30 just a day ago. Although I doubt posting the auction here is going to affect the price.

        I'm plenty happy with my self adjusting valves, timing chain, VVT, and DOHC. :D

          Cool chunk of machinery. Not sure if I would want it given its history. I can't imagine what the parts alone must be worth.

              He was a fellow NE guy. New here too. It's too costly for my blood in Unknown state. Let's try to get back to our moriatorium about not post Ebay auctions.

              Not that anyone of us poor people here are going to spend 2.5k on an unknown state engine. Ouch. And scary part is there is NO ECU for it in the picture or mentioned.

              Alpina had there own special ECU just for all of there cars that had engine tweaks, how else did they get their numbers.

                there was no computer for that engine! look at thr injection that is on it. that thing is a worthless dinosour, but I would take it!

                  Yup I been lookin into that engine......I gave the guy a call tro see about ECU,etc...I left a message and will see if he calls back :roll:
