Site like RealOEM.com for Chevy parts?

Getting parts for the E30 is so ridiculously easy with RealOEM providing part numbers and the folks at BMA shipping same day for good prices. I friggin hate calling up the local Chevy dealer and going through the drill down for the part over the phone, then later having to drive over to get it.

Anyone know of a comparable site with picture diagrams like RealOEM for Chevrolet trucks? I checked gmpartsdirect and it doesn't hold a candle to what we have on the E30 side. No pictures and I can't find a glow plug, just a glow plug relay.

Good luck - I think due to the very nature of how GM operates, you'll have a very hard time finding one consistent source for part numbers (many suppliers/large aftermarket). and even if you found the right number, the aftermarket part that is probably made better for less money is going to have a different part number and will be hard to cross reference.

Thanks, I gave it a shot. I was able to drill down to the year, make, model and engine, but received a "No parts found" when doing a Smart Search for "glow plug."

Just go to the dealer. Seriously. They'll know what you're looking for.

If I could walk or drive to the dealer on lunch break that would work great. Problem is I work in NYC, park the car at he train station at 6:15am and get back in the car on the way home at 6:00pm. I start before they open and I get back after they close. This is why RealOEM and BMA Mail Order is such a sweet deal for a lame office worker like myself. I come home and the parts are waiting for me in a cardboard box in front of the door.

Doh. Hopefully someone has come up with something clever. There's a fair amount of money to be made in just running a site with Google Ads and no brick and mortar operations like RealOEM. Not saying I would do it though, for all the reasons you listed.

Call the dealer, ask them to drop ship.
