I'm going to start a thread of my own some day about all the cars we deal with (not so much work on....but deal with) at my shop. Until then, let me just say that I drive and sit in about 100 different cars a month. From '82 accords that smell like moldy diarrhea and look much worse to the president of Adidas' 335i.

Currently, I hate the DC2 (integra). Steering wheel rubs my legs and isn't centered, shifter is too far away and too low and the torque steer....UUGH! I had to drive it around from the paint shop up to the detail building and sweet jesus, I couldn't wait to get out of it.

I get a lot of those cutlass supremes, grand prix's, and LeSabres rollin on 24"+...7g's in wheels, 10g's in sound system....an engine idle somewhere around 3500, still rockin drum brakes, a battery that NEVER starts the car and an interior that I have to put cardboard on to cover what appear to be holes in the seat to possibly hide things in?

    *sigh*

What year? I had a 1998 (first gen) neon and it was a blast for a front driver. I put 200k absolutely abusive miles on that thing and when it was on it's last leg with a pissing water pump some guy rear ended me and I got $1750 for it.

The second generation cars were porky pieces of crap though kinda like e30's compared to e36.

Probably the car my wife had when we first started dating, it was an 80-something Ford Tempo coupe. I have nightmares about driving that pile of shit.

Our work van is a late 90's Ford Aerostar with 60k miles on it. Biggest hunk of shit I have ever been in. Had to have the suspension completely rebuilt already, before the work was done it would wander all over the road with 0 play in the steering. We would literally almost hit cars in the next lane sometimes when it would suddenly veer off to the side for no reason. Check engine, ABS and brake lights are always on, brand new brakes still don't work for crap and the interior is falling off. Our horrible mechanic we contract through shot screws all over the outside of the panel into the door to keep it from falling off. Among a million other fixes it has also already needed a new ignition and the door locks only work on the sliding door. All of this and more with just 60k on the clock.

this thread is cool... worst car ever would be a early 90's (i think) mercury tracer automatic. I made a cool J turn video with it though, but it was a real crapbox.

That or my lemons Izuzu I mark, LOL

i had to drive a geo metro with a bike rack on it with 3 bmx bikes and 3 dudes from milwaukee to louisville! it would get super sketchy when semi's would pass you because it would only go 65 down a hill! the bikes worked like a sail and it would get speed wobbles and the rear end would be super loose and shake back and forth!

2008 Chrysler Aspen. My moms current lease and it is such a piece of shit. Obviously not as bad as some of the rusted out POS' you have been describing, but for an essentially new car its ridiculous.

I will admit it looks great inside and out, however i do not think the interior could have been designed any worse. The seats are hard as rocks and at such an angle that when you hit the brakes you slide off them. The pillars are so enormous that you cannot see out of any windows except for the windshield. The pedals are adjustable, but even at the lowest setting i can't touch the break without lifting up my foot. This car has every option, DVD, Navigation, but has manual seats.

I see that some of these may sound trivial but they are all so avoidable, and just make the overall driving experience very unpleasant.

Geo metro w/completely shot suspension. That was the scariest drive of my life. I swear it felt like driving in peanutbutter.
