    Any values on mint e30's?

considering throwing b.t 2-3 g's on my e30 this summer to "spruce it up" a bit.

After that's done, there really isnt' anything else that this car needs. The engine's tight, no rust, shiny paint mint interior, no cracks in the dash, etc.

The only issue is 2 burnt out OBC bulbs, and a few stone chips on the front bumper area, and an inop. a/c system/

What's the price that these are going for? Mine has had a few thousand spent on it already incl new DS, rebuilt shifter bushings, subframe bushings, rebuilt front suspension, etc.

I know e30 m3's in equivalent condition are getting about 15-20 usd

    here's a pic of mine.

you'll probably hate hearing this, but for as clean as your car is, it's still a sub 5k e30. But if you fix all that stuff and hang on to it for another 5 years, such mint e30 will be well worth double.

the ones i see eventually pulling "big" (relatively speaking) money are the 5sp iS cars with plastic bumpers. they are getting harder and harder to find in good shape, with decent records.

i'd say that at this point, anything you throw at the car can be written off as a loss, unless you plan to keep it. you never ever get your money out of these "investments", unless you happened to have snagged an M3 when they were selling for half of what they pull now.

there are only two ways to know what your car is worth; sell it or have it appraised.

i wouldn't worry about spending a couple $ on it. At least you don't have a $400/month car payment + insurance. E30s are cheap to maintain even if you have to throw a couple hundred at them every once in a while..

nice car. i believe its all eye of the beholder, like was said above, if some one wants it they will pay a good price. alot of the e30's going cheap are from people who dont know what it is, and dont care. i just picked up a 92 325iC for 2000 bucks, in excellent shape, with 170k miles. but thats cheap..

Recently I saw a super clean 325is go for $6800 and then I saw another one go for $2500 so who knows.
