Would it be even remotely possible to mount that wing on an E30?

Depends on wdith. I know the trunk falloff angle on the e21's is alot more rounded, and a e30 is alot more sharp.

But it is a foamish rubber, perhaps it could be pulled down to conform.

Hard to say not knowing.

I tried Like Jordon said the edges would have to ben bent downwards, the bolt holes don't line up either. Not it looked like it would fit pretty decent on my E28.
