Does anybody have a really simple program to create VCDs from *.avi files? I don't want to have to download Premier and do all that shiz.

Yes, but VCDs have to be in *.mpg format which is much less compressed than *.avi files. Thus when Nero goes to convert a 600 meg *avi into an mpg so it can burn it to a VCD the file suddenly becomes over a gig and thus too large to burn to a regular 700mb cd-r.Originally posted by e30Matt

Get Canopus ProCoder 2.0. It converts almost any video format to any other. Easy to use, prettty fast and works great. I use it to convert the .mov files from my camera to wmv for the web.
