    a question

what would you guys say a m20 would put down on the ground(hp wise and tq) with a chip in it,19lb injectors, a dinan exhaust, and a intake?
    just a estimate obviously..
i only ask cause i know there are many people that do little simple mods like this and know what kind of power u gain.
    thanks in advance

I'd guess 150 to the ground. These things are monstas.

Well, that's depending on compression, too. I'd guess a little higher for a well sorted engine, but the takeaway note here is that while m20s are fun engines to drive, they are depressing as hell (NA anyway) in terms of getting anywhere quickly.

depending on how healthy your engine is, it could range from about 140-160. 140 is usually what a stock m20 puts out though.

My old e30 had pretty much what you listed. I had headers to full 2.5" exhaust, intake, 19lb injectors, port & polish, and chip. It only pulled 139 on the dyno. I had some plug wires that were releasing spark. My guess is you would be around 150-160.

well the DINAN exhaust changes everything! it's so awesome, it must add at least 20hp.

Put it on the quarter mile, that's the best gauge of overall performance. With the mods that you listed, I'm guessing it should be putting a fat 250 to the ground. People tend to underestimate the effectiveness of a CAI on an M20, most CAI applications add somewhere between 20-100 ground horsepower.

Best of luck and use all of that power wisely, homie.
