I cant believe you sold your E30. Truly one of my faves on the site. I loved everything about that car. E34s are nice cars, but no E30s. I've been down this road before. You'll be back on a E30 next year only because you miss the Mtech, but when you get your next E30. It wont compare to your last E30. You'll never own another like it.
Hate to see your MT1 go, but at least you did everything you wanted to do to it. I'm sure the E34 will be a lot different, but I have no doubt you'll enjoy its DD capabilities (ride, comfort, noise) compared to the E30. Be happy you aren't stuck with a weezy M20-powered E34.
Design A's look amazing, there isn't a whole lot more that I would do to it aesthetically. The ride height looks fine, and the trunk spoiler doesn't bother me that much either, and the color is a nice refresher compared to the millions of monotone E34's you often see. It looks like a solid, comfortable driver.

This means a lot coming from you Mariano :(:( :hides in shame:
Sadly, like Andy's/T3rdferuguson's Mtech I, rust and corrosion started to get the better part of the chassis. How I wish I was living in Cali or so, it would have been truely mint still.
Ah, I was wondering why you had stopped posting for a while... anyway, sometimes time off from an E30 makes it that much sweeter when you step back in. ;)

Even though the part is expensive, you can upgrade to the e34 m5's steering box. It made a significant difference on my buddy's 525i. If they have a poly urethane steering coupler that will clean up a lot of slop too.
In the process of building a 525i touring at the moment, I love my e30s, but spending an hour or three a day in it with sport seats and suspension, she can stay in the garage and wait for the perfect sunny 70-80 degree days!
This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.
