1991 325is- Current Project w/ 150k on the clock
1990 325ic- SOLD w/425k on the clock and still ran!
1985 528e- SOLD
1972 2002tii-Should have never sold it!
Guess I can update this, haven't really done too much.
It's now got 128k, and have since done:
Hardtop
OEM windscreen
JOM coilovers
New shift knob
New obc lightbar and misc bulbs (obc bad as it turns out)
New clutch (spring broke on original, still had life left but was already pot committed labor-wise)
Just placed a couple of orders today, mostly maintenance stuff:
All new bulbs for the cluster, re-flowing speedo at that time.
new locking pins for the hard top (one side stripped, one close)
Wrench for hardtop to prevent above from happening again
new trim for the glass between door and rear glass
new taillight gaskets, one side starting to leak
Minty OBC on the way
Need a couple sidemarkers, they've broken. Also on the way.
Euro plate filler on the way.
Seeing a PDR guy soon to get the misc little dings removed.
Pulling off all trim and re-painting once the parts show up and detailing it at that time.
It's been a rock solid reliable and enjoyable car for the last 3 years. My GF dd's it these days as I'm driving 60k/yr for work and picked up an 06 X3 to handle that.
Looking to swap the grey leather out for cardinal, and will continue to maintain and upgrade the car.
Will likely be selling it next spring to make way for an e30m3 or touring project. Will be a very sad day, trying not to think about it.
