IS and ES valances are identical and have openings for oil coolers. Very early '86 production models had ones without oil cooler holes, and that lasted 7.85-10.85 only.

I always thought that the es valence didn't have the two slots on the middle bottom where as the is valence did. woops!

That's just a shadow, it isnt coming off. No, that isnt a stock part.
