New guy with pics and questions...

Just bought this...picking it up saturday morning.:p 88 325ix w/135k. I'm pretty new to the e30 and was hoping you guys could help.

Can anyone tell me what side skirts/fender lips these are? what front bumper will match better? From what I've read the ix models run different offsets than RWD models. Reason I ask is I've found some 16x7 +19 ARE mesh wheels I'd like to pick up. Is that too low of an offset?
What front lip do I have?

Things I know it has: H&R springs with Koni adjustables. It also comes with a set of 15" basketweaves and a set of 15" toms racing wheels (the 17" ASA's in the pictures and the toms will probably be for sale)

    thanks in advance

Nice iX. The skirts and flares are stock. For the bumpers. get a set of stock plastic bumpers off of a 89+ car.

88 ix's were quite a gem back in the day(only 2k less than the m3 and only came in 5spd). i'd keep the diving boards just to let people know its an 88.

Yea the cool thing about this car is that because it is an 88, it is a direct swap from diving boards to plastics. No shaving or drilling, just screwing. :D

I'd keep the diving board bumpers too................. In the corner of the garage till the price of scrap goes back up, so they could be melted into something else. The stock plastic bumpers would look 1000x better.

no no no they go installed in the rafters, thats where mine are.

Kudos to OP if you install a roof rack and put your DBs there :nice:

you have a reiger front lip with the splitter. its a nice lip to have, so keep it! just swap the aluminum bumpers to plastic and you got yourself a really nice car

alright, so I'm on the lookout for plastic bumpers now. a roof rack is definitely a possibility (not sure if I'd carry the bumpers around though haha)

so what about wheel offsets...what do I need to get the wheels flush with the fenders? I don't mind rolling fenders or dealing with semi aggressive fitments?

thanks for the answers and compliments so far.

tuck those bumpers and call it a day.
