Beautiful interior -- are those actual M3/cab seats in the front, or just re-wrapped that way?

Bro were you driving on 476 North last Tuesday afternoon around 3:30? I was driving 476 South bound in my 540i and almost broke my neck catching a glimpse, looks sweet! ;)

They were just re-wrapped that way. The original seats were sport "is" seats. Once you take the leather off all you are left with are just foam pads. I like to think there is no difference between the sports seat no matter the stitching.

Haha thanks man! Yeah i'm usually there around that time during the week, right between the media and springfield exits. I would love to see that M3 of yours in person some day. My car is my daily so its pretty much on the road at all times... hah.

You should try and come up to the Bear Mountain Meet this Saturday! Check the Mid-Atlantic section, I posted it there.

Looks good. Sad its not in the original white 4 door shell anymore the dinan kit was originally on. I still miss that car...

How was the black parts of the panels done? Was dye or paint used? Looks incredible by the way.

Yeah James does too. I'm just happy Dinan doesnt treat their cars like alpina or acs do and brand the actual car the kit was first installed on. Regardless, i didnt just swap out the kit. I swapped out the entire drivetrain. But yeah i know that white car is def missed.

The door cards actually just original black door cards. The center panels you see are seperate pieces that were glued over top of the door centers with industrial interior glue. Funny thing is, b/c of the ripples in the original card centers the new centers arent held down by the entire surface area. And i'm noticing areas where its not as good as "it could be." So i have a trick up my sleeve that i'm gonna try on some old door cards to see if i can get this to look even more at home then they do now. If any of that makes any sense to you.

Lookin good! I was hoping to see this beast at BE but spring has barely sprung, so I'm sure there will be more opportunities in the near future :)
Yeah i had my heart set on that show since last year, when i first started this project. Its a shame i coudlnt make it though. Had to take care of some stuff back the home.

Thanks for the offer on the boots, but my gf gave the black ones to me for a present so they're here to stay... haha. I might do the door handles and maps in black leather with matching stiching like we discussed. But that's for later down the line. I gotta do the headliner first.

Cool man no worries just thought I would offer you a set. Let me know when you are ready I will help you out with the liner and the other pieces.

Yeah, James and I last weekend went on the last cruise that the e30 went on before getting totalled. Was a lil bit more comfy riding in his M5 now.
