You are actually only seeing half the keypad of some crappy alarm system that came with the car when I bought it. Also I did have the foglights but an accident knocked them out and broke the brackets but the fogs are still fine.
well, i'm not gonna knock on the eta as an awesome daily driver. my car runs smoother than my gf's 92 325is. the fact remains, the eta is not a cheap motor to modify. you mention fred. he did a stroker conversion. it cost him a considerable amount of money, more than a lot of people would like to spend working on an m20 as a base. you mention ryan. he plopped in an S50? i'm not implying that he can't drop in another motor, i am implying that the eta as a base is an expensive car to make fast. as for james i'm not familiar of what he has done, but i do like his car. i don't recall you owning a 325e, either...
that said, have fun with it. i enjoy my 325e and how faithful it has been at getting me to and from school and work, but i don't expect to win races with it.
I retired my E30 for now...

welcome to hell...er i mean owning an eta. clean it up, chip it, and you're done. ask how i know.
I know what to expect, I've had this car for 2 years already and it has been pretty reliable except for a coolant hose bursting once(fun!). I don't plan on any crazy hp from this car, I just want euro bumpers, some new wheels, a drop and I'd be set.
It looks like one of those on eBay where the person takes a $5 clock and paints the needles red and slaps an M sticker in there and sells it for $40 claiming it came from an M3.
