Well, he wanted me to at least start on his heads before painting the car, so paint will probably be next week or so. He better do a nice job, been a while since I worked on big block heads, these things are massive!!!

      Progress on his jobber...

And for comparison, a Bic pen will fall through the guides

Thanks, I've scoped them out and thought about it, but now you helped me make my decision :D

Got more to do, but a progress pic.

The spoiler is getting shaved, front air dam was pretty beat up, so it's getting a temp fix until I can get euro bumpers on. Neeed some side markers, antenna etc, but the new tires are on their way and that will have to be good enough until the wallet is replenished...

Have your body guy paint the rusted metal trim around your windshield & rear glass black.

Just out of curiousity, why are you going to have your trunk spoiler?

I liked the way it looked today when the spoiler was off it.

The trim is the chrome garbage that's flaking off, and it is getting replaced with the black rubber. My neighbor does auto-glass and replaced my dad's '76 Vette glass etc, so he is able to get me something nice.

Found an unmolested 885 head in awesome shape from a new head-shop connection. Once I get the flow bench operational he wants to trade off work since he doesn't want anything to do with it with the employees he has. Said he will sell me the head for $300 complete with cam etc - he actually specializes in BMW cam-journal head repair :D

The eta needs new shocks so I am still shopping for a shock/spring setup to give it a little better stance, but like I said, the wallet is tapped at the moment.

Looks like you replaced the fender. Is it aftermarket? The car looks great.

Yup, aftermarket. Still need to get around to aligning it back up with the hood, but eh, work in progress. Got it on evil-bay for $100 shipped.

                    Thanks :D

Scored an 885 top end today, so maybe it soon will go more than show haha.
