Say goodbye to the poorly dyed, dry, rotting leather. Car is at upholsterer. Hoping to have it done within the next week! This will make a huge difference.

Seats are done. I will add some proper photos soon. I have the mtech seat badges and I want to be intentional as to placement.

As you can see in the photo, would I put the prongs through the top thread, bottom thread or directly in between?

and do you need to take the back of the seat off to bend the prongs once installed?

The prongs are bigger than I imagined and will be leaving some holes, so any help is appreciated.

Need to take some decent photos of interior. Need to use heat gun on some of the creases, but overall pleased. If anyone has any advice on the mtech seat badge, please let me know how to properly install before I put some holes in my new leather.

          here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming:

Yeah it should have been done when reupholstering. They go through the center and bent from behind. Another option is to cut the prongs off and attach it with double sided tape. This is easy to do and doesn't leave holes in your leather.

I appreciate the reply. I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to remove the back of the seat in order to bend the prongs back. I have a hard time thinking the double sided tape against the leather would last in the southern heat.

I was hoping to get some help regarding my cluster malfunctioning. I’m hoping it may just be a bad fuse or SI board battery, but any insight would be great while the car is away at the shop. Here are my systems:

                      - Fuel gauge stays pinned on FULL
                      - Speedometer works up until about 75-80, then it falls to 0 while maintaining that speed or higher.
                      - Temp gauge slowly gets up to just under halfway and then never moves again. May be accurate, may be off. Not sure.
                      - Odometer works perfectly fine
                      - RPMs read perfectly fine.

any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Quick snap of the new strut under the hood. I ordered and painted the rear not knowing that it isn’t compatible with the verts, so if anyone is interested in a rear strut bar, DM me.

I recently replaced my SI board with a refurbished unit with new batteries. From what I can tell, each gauge is working properly.

the only issue I am continuing to get is that the speedometer drops anytime I hit 48mph or higher…it drops to 0. Until my speed gets back to under 48mph and then works properly again.

I check the speed sensor at the diff, connection looks great. Cleaned it, and went for a drive and the same issue continued.

before buying a speed sensor replacement, I wanted to confirm that this is the best next step to resolving my issue.

                              any feedback is welcomed!

Really happy with how the interior is taking form. Finally ended up with oem hi shift knob and received freshly wrapped leather sport steering wheel.
