I have to say, it has potential. Extend it to the corners of the valence with a slant-in similar to the camaro pictured above. I think that would be your best bet.

Reminds me of the middle piece of the rear plastic bumper trim without the sides. I would extend it from left to right for the full valence and would bring it out more if possible. Would look 100 times better if it was a longer piece and not a pooper scooper.
