I'd say its a coincidence, they dont come like that. Bergies_318is's E30 is alpine and has white bumpers :p. But it seems to be something that a lot of people do anyway, there are many people with wierd taste in Australia.

They are not painted. Europe and the extended Euro market (including australia) did not come with colour coded bumpers standard. They were an option. standard late model bumpers are black plastic. So yeh, they do come like that lol

The tail lights however are painted black. This I do not understand...
