Finally closer to the ground and I <3 new oem parts <GC CONTENT>

Finally got all the parts together in for my GC kit. Put in a new GC kit, new bearings, oem rotors and hawk pads. Took a break for now, I'll finish the rears in a little bit. Have to put in my oem skid plate too before I really drive it, don't wanna wreck my oil pan.

    Before yuckkkkk:

    Parts:

    During:

    After:

    Too much negative camber:

Going to drop the front a tiny bit more.

    *UPDATE*

Just finished up the rears, here are full shots:

Might go down a turn in the rear and two up front. Looks like the rear fenders will have to be rolled, I should've went with 195s all around instead of 205s, but oh well.

    Wow, really nice!

Can you post closer-up photos of the top of your strut assembly, from the side? I want to see the order that the camber plates and other parts go, up at the top of the shock. This is confusing to me and I don't want to screw it up.

              WOW, your car looks great.
              I love your wheels too!
Did you cut/weld your struts? or what's going on there?

I bought them refinished already, the gold bolts are available online many places.

Thanks! I picked up a set of struts from someones parts car and sent them out to ground control, where they cut and welded them. When I got them back it was a complete swap for what was in my car.

Nice, what spring rates are you running?

Color blind, thought they were bronze not gold. Shade difference. In process of doing black hardware for mine.

I think you can only max out the camber at -2deg or something close to that as the bolts contact the strut opening. To go any farther you have to cut the strut opening to allow the bolts to pass by.

And make sure you put a skidplate on before you head out. I recently hit my skidplate 7 times in the last 4 days and it saved the oilpan for sure.

I knew it would look good as soon as you dropped it. Great work man!

To be honest, I don't know off hand, I'll check and get back to you.

I'm not going to run that much negative camber, thats just how they were set up out of the box, I'll fix it later. Thats exactly what I am going to do. Should have my skid plate by Tuesday, which gives me 2 days to play with the ride height, and then Wednesday I will take the car out and go get an alignment.
