Ordered new IN/OUT tie rods and the pitman and idler arm. The steering in this thing right now is deadly at speeds. No way i'm driving across the country like that. Hope to get that done on Monday after they arrive.
The fact that I own a van this big is crackin me up, yet alone the fact that i'm modding it, lol.
And here, new black mirrors; first step in the shadowline process
.
(these were actually needed, as the pass one was broken)turk@gutenparts.com

There's 2 things that every self respecting American should do after aquiring a van of such status
1. Write Hannah Montana concert shuttle on the side like so:

2. Drive around town and/or residential areas wearing a ski mask and stop next to a cop to ask for directions

Thanks guys. I'll be back in Aug for Road America, so try and clear that weekend and make the trip up.
You should. There'll be lots going on this summer!
It is funny, isn't it. I'll let you know about the lights. Planned on doing one side at a time and take comparision pics.turk@gutenparts.com

Super busy weekend but managed to do the mirrors, speed sensors, add a windshield mounted mirror, and swap out one of the lights. It took like 3 minutes to do it, so i thought i'd leave one sealed beam in for night pics.
First one is the left side sealed beam, and the other is the right side H4 housing. Pretty much what i expected. Wider and more distance as well.turk@gutenparts.com
