2009 Grassroots Motorsports Challenge build diary take 3

I know we ahvent updated the site in a while but here is a quick shot of what we have been upto in the recent month or so.

Here are some used Bassett wide 5 wheels 15x10 that we got we are going to pair them with 275-35-15 R6's. To get these Wide 5's to fit we had Carlos (silence) call his did and request some custom plates. His dad was able to make these outta some scrap material that was left around the shop. This is the reason why we started making our wide body, our intentions is not to let this car look like its a rollerskate but to make fenders wide enough to cover the wheel. Now that we have the wheels we will be continuing our widebody fabrication next week, and hope to ahve some updates soon..

THanks for all the positive feedback guys. We don't run it in the club racing series because the car is not built to spec, plus we dont have a roll cage yet. sennasixty8, you are right, we are lucky to have such understanding spouses.
